...CHOKING again this upcoming season. Maybe then he will WHINE AND BLAME the front office this time...for not keeping the defensive players they lost...and Edge James.

I wonder what 'OLE Arch will do after Eli whips his older brother on the first NBC Sunday Night game...

Maybe that ALBATROSS of a contract that Whiner Peyton has will be the endpoint for this team...

Eli probably will win a SuperBowl ring at some point, and then Whiner Peyton can get to see what one looks like.

Sad part is you were probably saying the same thing about Elway at one time
in his career ...

Obviously your athletic "accomplishments" go way beyond what Manning has accomplished in his lifetime

First off .... what guys say to the media shortly after a game ends means
little to me ... they are all competitors and all have different personalities

I get tired of hearing the ol "choke" crap that folks throw out at professional
athletes ... that usually comes from a source that has accomplised little
when it comes to athletics outside of laying down a bunt when 11 yrs old
in Little League

Manning will win his and then the "choke" experts will go find anothe target

I never seen a Halls of fame QB blame anyone but himself after a loss. In fact, I cannot remember a single hall of fame athlete calling out his team when he lost.

If you want credit for a win then you need to accept the blame for a loss.

the guy screwed up ... like you've never made a comment when pissed you could take back???

Lot of HOFers with "attitudes" and have dumb ass stunts: Isiah Thomas and his Larry Bird racial comments / Barkley and a LONG LIST / Cobb pistol whipped a guy to death / Simpson kills 2 folks / Fergie Jenkins busted for drugs / Juan Marichal swings a bat over Roseboros head / Namath drunk and trying to kiss Kolber on national television ....

What Manning said was wrong .. he is human and one of the top 3 qbs in the game today ... again, how many times a day do you make a comment that makes you look bad???

but the fact remains, a lot of the guys you mentioned didn't choke when they should have won, then bitched about their team...you're not comparing similar athletes here

John Elway never WHINED LIKE A LITTLE BITCH about his OLINE. John Elway was a "real man" and left it all out on the field, and did not go :Sad Face: to the media about his team.

Speaking of accomplishments...I am NOT PAID 7 FIGURES to play for a professional team. He is and that makes him open to CRITICISM, especially when he opens his mouth and shit comes out.

Since you seem to have his "accomplishments" down...seeing as football is the ultimate "team" sport...

HOW MANY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS DID HE WIN AT TENNESSEE?

HOW MANY SUPERBOWLS HAS HE PLAYED IN HIS 8 YEARS WITH THE COLTS?

He is DEFINED as a QB with real nice stats. As far as being able to "accomplish" anything for his team...That amounts to shitting in one hand and wishing in the other...because he has not LED his teams to anything.

I am waiting to see if he BLAMES the GM this year because they lost James, Thornton and Tripplett.

Agreed...

In the ultimate of team sports, the so called leader calls out his OLINE.

All of his "accomplishments" in football are personal ones that are statistically based...with a big zero in the team championships won category.

Manning should call Tee Martin and ask him how to lead a team, in order to win a championship.

I really think that Eli will win one and Whiney won't.

Whiney had his best chance and pissed on it.

There's a difference though Doc. Peyton CHOKES with repeatedly the best team in the league. I'm a huge Pats fan, and I guarantee you that Brady woulda won with that Colts team before Peyton could win with the Pats team

repeatedly the best team in the league ????

How many years before this were folks raving about the Colts are the best team in the league???

Manning will win his and then folks will move onto another target ... seems Mickelson was the rag child before he broke thru and it aint like Manning DOGGED it i the Pitt game as he throws for almost 300 yrds and completes what: 23 out of 40???

Lets spread the blame as Dungy aint actually the 2nd coming of Lombardi

The point is how many times have we seen this in forums???? Elway was called a loser continously and wins a SB and all of a sudden he is an alltime great .. the press called Nick Faldo "Nick Foldo" before he won the 1st of 6 Major Championships ... Hell, Marino must fall in Mannings boat as he never won a championship in college or the pros neither

Do you think Marino was on teams that were as strong as the Colts have been the past 5 years or so?

I was in shock to see the colts lose last year. They were a very good team on both sides of the ball.

The pt being is Marino didnt win the Big One in College or the Pros ...

and to quote TonyMar:

All of his "accomplishments" in football are personal ones that are statistically based...with a big zero in the team championships won category

I dont like calling athletes chokers on this board cause NONE OF US can sniff anywhere what these guys have accomplished

Manning makes a comment he probably would like to take back ... he screwed up and that is part of life and to blame a qb soleley when a team loses or glorify him when they win is bullcrap ..

Time to blame Dungy as well as he has never won the big one neither

The Colts were a heavy favorite to win it all last year. Hell this time they even had homefield advantage throughout. They had all the talent in the world and last year the defense was loaded.

Now they have lost two key pieces to that defense, and their All Pro RB.

Great point you made about his stats in the loss to Pittsburgh. That is how Manny is DEFINED. Statistical machine...that threw for over 300 yards and lost at home to Pittsburgh. Has he proven that he is a team leader with the ability to take his team to a title?...NOPE.

He leaves Tennessee and the VERY next year Tee Martin takes that team and wins a championship.

Mickelson plays an individual sport. But in a sense that is what Manning does too...because with him it is all about his big numbers and no rings. His stats are great, and his teams never win a championship...all about the individual.

The gents you mentioned NEVER had the talent around them that Whiney Manny has had. Those QB's also were NEVER the FAVORITE the Colts were last year to win it all. They also did not go to the media and :cryingcry
like little bitches after losing a big game. Marino was a "man" and did not need to act like a little F'ng bitch after he lost.

:missingte Dungy? Well it was Dungy that was gracious in defeat, handled the loss as any PROFESSIONAL should...gave credit to the Steelers. Did not see him bitching, crying, whining, and moaning. It was the team's leader that acted UNPROFESSIONAL...see for Manning it was not the Steelers that caused him to lose...it was his OLINE...:cryingcry

I think Manny did that because he is tired of these years going bye without a championship. The 2005 Colts were the best team in the league, he had his best shot...and he did not even get to the AFC Championship game.
